Stampalicious - Recycle challenge
Today's challenge over at Totally Stampalicious is to recycle it - find something that is laying around the house or even pull it out of the trash "ewwww" and use it on your card or project.
I used a piece of cardboard that one of my Christmas gifts came in and the wheels on Gus's new truck are from tags that came on some clothing I purchased. The image and sentiment are from the Totally Stampalicious Bugaboo line - called New Truck Gus.
This is also for the featured stamper challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers. I cased this cute card of Leisa Janes.
I hope you will join us over at Totally Stampalicious - make sure to up load your card/project on Mr. Linky. We would love to see what you made.

Totally Stampalicious - It's all FAUX fun
Merry Christmas -I hope you are better prepared for Christmas than I am - I have been running around in circles for days. Each year I seem to be more and more disorganized than ever. I am very pleased with myself - I did manage to get a big project finished yesterday with some help from my DH. We made Calendars for our parents - using assorted pictures from our Spain trip. Anyways - enough of that. Onto today's fun challenge at TS.
It's time for another Totally Stampalicious challenge - this week we have been asked to "FAKE IT" (ie: faux stitching, faux brads, faux metal, faux wood, faux linen etc). I used the "faux stitching" and "faux brad" techniques on my card. The "Snowmen" are from the Totally Stampalicious "Snowmen" set. I stamped the snowman once, masked it, and then stamped snowmen again. I stamped the scarfs on a textured acrylic paper and coloured with Stampin Up "more mustard" and "soft suede" markers. Pierced holes and attached the mini black brads. Faux stitched around image. I cut a strip of Kraft card stock and scored lines every 1/4 inch. Rubbed chocolate chip ink over raised ridges. Matted all panels with gemstone black card stock. Attached the Faux brads with pop dots. Used a felt Dollar Store snowflake, added Dazzling Diamonds to the snowflake, their Halo"s, the ground and some to the sky (falling snowflakes). Designer paper is from K&Company - Yuletide mat pack.
Check out what the other TS DT members have come up with to inspire you. If you make a card/project make sure to upload it to Mr. Linky from you Blog or Gallery.
This card will also work for a challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers - the Technique challenge TLC304, issued by Joan Ervin - to do Faux or Real stitching on your card.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Hugs.. Patricia Rose

I made this cute House Mouse card for several challenges over at Splitcoast Stampers. The featured stamper challenge is one of my favourite challenges. This is also for the Ways to Use it #WT301 - use glitter/sparkle, the Technique challenge TLC304 - faux or real sewing and for this months Fan Club theme - be inspired by music -
"Oh Christmas Tree"
I used this adorable House Mouse image called "Mice Star". I coloured the image with water colour pencil crayons and reinkers. Water coloured over the image again using Champagne Shimmer paint. Added Diamond Stickles to the felt snowflake and to every other snowflake on the K&Company Yuletide Designer paper.

For the card above I used "Christmas JJ". I love this cute stamp set - it comes with two image an sentiments.
For the card below I used "New Truck Gus". I love the set as well - it comes with four humours sentiments and the one image - it is very easy to colour, and makes for some very fun masculine cards.

I hope you will come and join us over at Totally Stampalicious - check out what the other DT members have come up with to inspire you. If you join us - make sure to upload your card to Mr. Linky to your blog or gallery.

Wrap It Up - Stampalicious Style
Here is my take on the challenge. I wrapped up a tin of yummy English Toffee Cappuchinno hot beverage drink mix. The image and sentiment are from the "Attitude Ruby" set - a newly released stamp set in the Totally Stampalicious Bugaboo Line.
I stamped the image using Versafine onyx black ink and clear embossed. Water coloured image with Tombow Markers. Made it into a tag. Punched out the flowers using a Sizzex flower die, embossed the flowers with Swiss Dot EF. Stamped the sentiment and punched it out. Glued it to the flower center.

Sock Monkey Girl says "Hello"
I made this cute little Bugaboo Digi Stamp - Sock monkey card for some challenges over at Splitcoast Stampers, plus this weeks challenge at Crazy 4 Challenges - to use circles on your card/project.
For the Technique challenge #TLC300 we were asked to use at least two of the previous technique challenges - I used TLC133 - gamsol magic (colouring with prisma colour pencil crayons and gamsol) and TLC160 - Cuttlebug negative effect (Ink up cuttlebug folder - put card stock in folder and run through the bug) - I also sprinkled clear embossing powder onto the card stock - ink was still wet and heat embossed - that is what gave the bg the shine. I sponged the embossed panel edges and over the raised circles with Basic brown ink and around the circles behind the little sock monkey.

Wishing you a speedy recovery - Jess
Jess is a big Nascar fan and loves Dale Earnhaardt Sr. I don't have any racing card stamps so I went on line and found this colouring page image. Matted image with black and red cardstock. I created the checkered background by weaving the black strips into the white panel. Matted the checkered panel with red card stock. Stamped sentiment (from Stampin Up's Bird on a Branch set), matted with black card stock. Sewed all panels. Attached the screw brads.
