Sweet Stuff

Here a sweet picture of my Grand daughter "Nico". I was looking after her the other day while here Mommy was at the Dentist. She wanted to make a card for her, so she picked out the lolly pop image from Stampin Up's "Very Punny" set. She randomly stamped on the image with a little direction from me "Gramma Rose" and coloured one of the lolly pops. We matted image panel with Bravo Burgundy and Certainly celery. Cut out the Baja Breeze button with Sizzex die. We assembled the card and then sewed all the layers together and sewed on the buttons. Applied Stickles to the Lolly pop. Stamped sentiment inside card. We used the colours from Splitcoast Stampers colour challenge CC306.

CAS - Happy Birthday

Happy New Year to each and everyone of you....
This card only took me 15 minutes to make.... Over at Splitcoast Stampers - today's challenge was to make a 15 minute card, use at least one new item you recieved over the holidays and to limit it to an Annual event.
Image was stamped with stazon jet black onto water colour paper (twice). I only coloured the owl/circle on one. I used my stampin up markers and reinkers. I received the Spellbinder curved rectangle dies for Christmas from my DH. Sponged edges with basic black and night of navy. Added Diamond Stickles to the stars. Popped up the circle - "Spotlight technique".
Owl image from Impression Obsession - Night Owl and sentiment from Stampin Up - It's your Birthday.

THINKING OF YOU

Happy Tuesday everyone..... Was I ever thrilled when Betty Wright asked to make a SAMPLE CARD for this weeks COLOUR CHALLENGE #CC249 on SPLITCOAST STAMPERS .
The colours are So Saffron, Mellow Moss, Mellon Mambo (Regal Rose) and Neutrals of Choice. Plus this weeks desert option is polka dots (big bold dots, itty bitty dots or any dots in between).
I had the perfect DP in my stash and the stamp I used is one of the very first stamps I had purchased - it has seen any love for awhile and it goes perfectly with my DP.
I used the Spotlight technique on my card and Outside the box.
Thanks for stopping by,
Happy Creating,
Hugs - Patricia
