Casing LynniePoo

Just sharing another card I made last week. I made this for Splitcoast Stampers
CAS challenge to use gingham or checks and the featured stamper challenge FS194 - Lynette (aka LynniePoo). I cased her "Candy Cane Snowglobe" card.
I stamped the image on Kraft card stock using Versafine onyx black ink. Coloured image with Prisma colour pencil crayons and gamsol. Cut out image, one plain white oval and two red (front and back of tag) scalloped ovals with the Cuttlebug and Nestabilities. Sponged edges of Kraft oval using chocolate chip ink. Made the gingham and raffia bow and adhered to card. This is small enough to be a gift tag.
Thanks for stopping in,

CAS - Thinking of You (Spring CAS DT call)

There is a call out for the "Spring Clean and Simple (CAS) design team on Splitcoast Stampers". We were to pick two CAS challenge cards from Dec. 2009 until now, plus two CAS non CAS challenge cards and then pick one CAS previous challenge and make a new card. This is my new card.

When I arrived home from work yesterday there was some happy mail - I won this cute stamp set from Clear Dollar Stamps called "Everyday Jar-gon". I couldn't wait to use this set - this is what I came up with for my NEW CAS card. I use used the CAS26 challenge - to use stitching - real or faux. I stamped my images (first the jar, next the flowers and then the bee) onto water colour paper with Stazon Jet black, Coloured with markers and SU reinkers. Matted image with gingersnap and barely banana paper. Stamped the sentiment onto white panel, Matted with barely banana. Sewed all edges. Image panel is popped up. Added Diamond stickles to the flower centers and bees wings.
Thanks for stopping by,
Happy stamping and creating
Hugs - Pat
