QFTD46, Treat me like a QUEEN

Here is a card I made for a few challenges over at Splitcoast Stampers. Queen for the Day -
Susan (One4Joy) was passed the Crown this week. She is Queen #46. Here is the fun card of Susan's that I cased "Ripped from the pages of the latest" . I used this weeks sketch layout, Monday's technique - heat embossing on dry embossing, the Free for All - mostly monochromatic and Ways to use it - Hearts. The fun image is from Bugaboo Stamps - Stella Sewing "Needle Queen". Image was coloured with Tombow and Stampin up markers. The red designer paper was dry embossing with Polka dot folder. Next I brayered Versamark ink lightly over the raised dots. Sprinkled on red Tinsel embossing powder and heat embossed. The sentiments is from Stampin Up - 2010 Summer Mini catalogue.

It's time to say goodbye to our January Guest designer, Irene. She has given us some amazing Eye Candy to ogle.
Just to let you know, I will sadly be leaving the Totally Stampalicious Design Team. It was a hard decision to make, but I need to take some time out to enjoy my new twin grand babies "Austin and Sydney" and the rest of my family. I need less commitments and I am sure most of you will understand where I am coming from. I will continue to play in the Totally Stampalicious challenges when I can come and visit you in Blogland..
Thank you so much for stopping in,

Stampalicious Colour Challenge

and one of the sentiments from this Promotional set.
I stamped the image with versafine onyx black ink and clear embossed. Water coloured image using Tombow markers. The dark red dp is dry embossed with hearts. The polka dot and flower dp is from My Minds Eye - Quite Contrary line. Both of these panels were dry embossed, one with Swiss Dot folder and the other with Polka dot folder. I scored vertical lines on the pink panel behind Scarlette - to look like wall paneling. Stamped the sentiment on Vellum with Stazon jet black ink, punched out with oval punch. Sponged all edges with Regal Rose ink. Matted panels with black card stock. All edges were stitched. Added the scalloped edge to the image panel, the photo corner, flower rhinestone and Stickles. Image panel and Scarlette are popped up. Finished the inside of the card.
Make sure to head on over to the Totally Stampalicous blog to see what the other DT members have come up with to inspire you. Upload your card to your blog or gallery on Mr. Linky so we can come and see your project. Remember Totally Stampalicious is still looking for guest designers, they are choosing them only from those who enter the TS challenges.

A red hat for Joyce

I made this card for the challenge over at Totally Stampalicious "Recycle it". The flower and the red leaves are from recycled items. The flower was punched out three times using a Cuttlebug flower die - once from a plastic coffee can lid and twice from Christmas tissue paper (from one of my gifts) - the red leaves are from Christmas wrapping paper (from a gift). The image I used is from Totally Stampalicious - Bugaboo line called "Red Hat Stella".
This card is also for two challenges over at Splitcoast Stampers - sketch challenge #SC312 and
for Mothermarks Teapot Tuesday challenge #MMTPT126. Once of our fellow SCS (jjai) has had cancer for 13 years, recently had surgery for her cancer and now is suffering Stroke like side effects. Joyce is a Red Hat Society Lady - we are sending her Red Hat themed cards to help cheer her up and show our love and support.

What's One More Friggin' Candle
It's time from another Totally Stampalicious challenge.... to use PAPER FLOWERS on your card or project - it can be store bought, die cut or punched... it's up to you.
I used this fun image and sentiment from the Totally Stampalicious - Bugaboo line - "Stella's Birthday" - stamped image with Versafine Onyx black ink and clear embossed. Coloured image with Tombow and Stampin up markers, plus Martha Stewart glitter pens. For my paper flowers I used my Cuttlebug flower die - I cut three flowers out - two red and one light blue. Layered the two red ones, used the center of the blue one only. Punched out some leaves and layered underneath.
I used last weeks sketch #SC296 from Splitcoast Stampers. Diamond Stickles were added to the embossed Swiss Dots.
