Happy Saturday everyone... Well we had our very first snowfall last night... it didn't accumulate to very much thank god... It is supposed to get down to -7 tonight... Winter is definitely on its way....I made this card for 4 different challenges over at Splitcoast Stampers... Queen for the Day - Maxell (Bev) , Ways to use it - to use browns on your card, Free 4 all - to make a thank you card and the Inspiration Challenge "Plaid Pony Vintage". Here is the owl card of Bev's that I cased and the Plaid Pony inspiration "Owl piggy bank".
I am also entering this in the Crazy 4 Challenges challenge - to have circles on your card or project, in your image, dp, circle dies, circle punches etc... My owl has circles in the stamped image.
The owl image is from Inkadinkado - "Patterned birds and bug" set and the sentiment is from Studio G. I stamped the image onto water colour paper twice with vintage sepia ink and clear embossed. Water coloured owl/branch with Stampin Up creamy caramel, close to cocoa, really rust and old olive. Cut out the owl image from one, embossed the back with a stiletto to give it dimension and placed it over top of other image. Sponged creamy caramel and close to cocoa around both of the water colour paper panels. Card stock is Kraft and textured soft suede. Sewed edges of two of the panels.
