Peace to You

I'm sitting here in my warm and cozy Craft Room, boy is it ever miserable outside.... Rain, Rain, Rain and more Rain..
Here is a card that I made for three challenges over at Splitcoast Stampers.... Today's colour challenge #CC299, (Real Red, Old Olive, River Rock and neutrals of Choice), the Teapot Tuesday Challenge #MMTPT122 - "Below is your finch, Don't worry it's a Cinch" and yesterday's technique challenge #TLC301 - faux tile background.

The sweet image is from PSX - called "Winter Robins". I water coloured the image using Stampin up and Tombow markers. The sentiment is from Studio G. The holy leaves on the faux tile grid are from Walmart. I used Stampin Up's itty bitty background stamp on the faux tile panel.
Thanks for stopping by,
Happy stamping and creating,

THINKING OF YOU

Happy Tuesday everyone..... Was I ever thrilled when Betty Wright asked to make a SAMPLE CARD for this weeks COLOUR CHALLENGE #CC249 on SPLITCOAST STAMPERS .
The colours are So Saffron, Mellow Moss, Mellon Mambo (Regal Rose) and Neutrals of Choice. Plus this weeks desert option is polka dots (big bold dots, itty bitty dots or any dots in between).
I had the perfect DP in my stash and the stamp I used is one of the very first stamps I had purchased - it has seen any love for awhile and it goes perfectly with my DP.
I used the Spotlight technique on my card and Outside the box.
Thanks for stopping by,
Happy Creating,
Hugs - Patricia

Believe

Happy soggy Tuesday everyone... I'm hopping the rain will stop sometime soon - we are getting water logged. Here is a cute little box I made - I really love how it turned out. I water coloured my "Winter Robins" with Stampin Up reinkers. Masked image and sponged on the sky. I made the FAUX wood frame (used this tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers).
I made the box using this tutorial - but I altered the design abit.

For this box I had combined two Splitcoast Stamper challenges - today's colour challenge - Real Red, Chocolate Chip, Always Artichoke and neutrals, plus last weeks Ways to Use it - A faux feel (faux wood).

Thanks for stopping by..
Happy stamping and creating..

Winter Robins singing Falalalala....

Hello..... Good afternoon... I made this card for today's sketch challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers. My cute bird image was water coloured with reinkers. Added stickles to the berries. I ran the vanilla base card through the Cuttlebug with the swiss dot folder as well as the creamy caramel triangles. I stamped two holly springs on whisper white and water coloured, cut out and attached to triangles with red brads. Image was matted with chocolate chip and creamy caramel, blue paisley dp and triangles were matted with chocolate chip. Sewed edges. Dp and image panel are up on foam dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping by.
hugs... Pat
