Thank you Sew Much

I made this card a few months ago and am very late in uploading it. I just love this adorable House Mouse image "Sew What" and the sentiment is "Sew Much".

I made this for some challenges over at Splitcoast Stampers . The featured stamper challenge FS259 - Kim (Luv Flowers) had the honor that week. I cased this adorable house mouse card.

I put my card in the Fan Club gallery - Mind your Manners also the Free 4 All challenges - use a heart or two --- I have 6 heart eyelets and also for Mondays Technique challenge - twine - I have used twine to tie on the image - it is wrapped around the main card and tied at the back. Image was coloured with Stampin Up and Tombow markers. Cut out with oval nestability. I left the die on the oval, masked the image and sponged inside the die. Punched holes in the brown nestabilty scalloped sides and attached the heart eyelets.

Thanks for looking,Hugs..Pat

Masked - Happy Birthday

I just love how this card turned out. I made the black and white background paper. Cut a 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 inch square of white paper. Scored lines every 3/4" on the diagonal. Cut out 3/8" strips of black card stock. On the left lower side I place the black strips just underneath the score lines. Cut off the excess black parts. Matted with 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 black card stock. Sewed edges. For the butterfly - I found the image from the Internet - googled "butterfly" colouring book pages and found one I liked. Printed it out, cut out the butterfly - from the inside of image - to keep the outside section as my mask. Placed the mask over a piece of white card stock. Sponged pretty in pink and riding hood red ink onto butterfly. I used my cloud template to get the scalloped edges on the butterfly to make it more interesting. Stamped on the Artful Asian (Stampin Up) leaves and the butterflies from the Water Colour Mini's (Stampin Up) set. Stamped on the birthday sentiment from Stampin Up's "Well Scripted" set.. Matted with black and stitched edges with the wandering stitch. Used my white gel pen on the leaves and mini butterflies. Pierced holes for the big butterflies flight path. Popped up the image, added the Martha Stewart pearls and Stickles

Welcome Baby "Kortland"

I made this adorable sock monkey card for some family members who just welcomed their precious son in their world. And his baby room is decorated with monkeys. I just had to use this cute Meljen's Designs sock monkey image.

This was also made for a few challenges over at Splitcoast Stampers - the inspiration challenge and ways to use it challenge (colouring). I made the diamond grind background using the Scor Pal. Scored the lines and then ran my yellow ink pad over top of the grid. I really like how this turned out...

Thanks for stopping by,
