SCS colour challenge - A pretty flower Just for You

Here is a card that I made for Splitcoast Stampers colour challenge #CC294 - Baja Breeze, Blushing Bride, Crumb Cake and neutrals of choice. I used the closest colours that I had on hand (sage shadow, blush blossom and kraft). I cut out the Flower and leaves from Sizzex dies. I scored the Acrylic white card stock in a diamond pattern. The polka dot dp is from Bazzil "rope swing". I cut the kraft and rope swing card stock in a wavy line to make it look like a rolling ground scape. Assembled the card. Attached the ribbon and sewed around edges. I made the shrinky dink tag. Sentiment is from Clear Dollar Stamps "Everyday jar-gon" set.

Wishing you a speedy recovery - Jess

I'm a little late uploading this card. I made this card for this weeks Teapot Tuesday challenge (#MMTPT117 ) on Splitcoast Stampers for Charlene Merricks (where m & m's gather) step-son Jess. Jess was attacked by a neighbours vicious Dog and now is faced with plastic surgery to repair the damage to his face. I will be sending this off to Jess - wishing him a speedy recovery.

Jess is a big Nascar fan and loves Dale Earnhaardt Sr. I don't have any racing card stamps so I went on line and found this colouring page image. I printed the image twice, cut one out and coloured it with markers. Dry embossed the back side of the image on the front portion of the car to give it some dimension. Matted image with black and red cardstock. I created the checkered background by weaving the black strips into the white panel. Matted the checkered panel with red card stock. Stamped sentiment (from Stampin Up's Bird on a Branch set), matted with black card stock. Sewed all panels. Attached the screw brads.

Glue white fun flock to the bottom section of the Stella image and the tree panel. Applied white liquid applique dots for the falling snow flakes. Stamped sentiment and punched out with Stampin Up Label punch. Inked Edges of all panels with Stazon Vibrant Violet ink. Sewed edge of base card, attached ribbon. Assembled card. House Mouse Country Christmas

I just had to share this adorable House Mouse - Country Christmas card I made yesterday.. I haven't been playing with my HM images very much lately... and I absolutely love working with them. I made this for yesterday's technique challenge #TLC 295 over at Splitcoast Stampers - to make it shimmer. Plus Our Creative Corners challenge - to use at least three different embellishments.

I stamped the House Mouse image "Peppermint Pals " with Versafine Onyx Black ink and clear embossed. Inked up my acrylic block with Stampin Up Soft Sky ink and stamped over top of image. Stamped snowflakes on the background. Coloured image with Water colour pencil crayons and Tombow Markers. Next I applied Stampin Up Champagne Shimmer Mist with aqua painter. Applied Crystal Effects to the candies. Matted image with Forest Green card stock and a Kraft scalloped rectangle. I have had the Designer papers in my stash for a long time - not sure who made them. Made the base panel, Sewed edges. Attached the gingham ribbon. Punched out Martha Stewart Leaf springs, attached behind image panel. Tied the string bow and glued on. Applied Liquid applique for the snow. Image panel is popped up.. I sponged edges with Riding hood red ink.

On Blitzen

Happy Sunday everyone.... I made this card for the Featured Stamper challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers FS193 Laurie Zoellmer (aka imamuttnut) and for this weeks challenge over at Our Creative Corners - to use at least three different embellishments. It also qualifies for the challenge over at Mark's Finest Papers to use faux or real stitching on your card/project.

Plus I am introducing a new Totally Stampalicious image from their Bugaboo line called "Christmas JJ".

Here is the card of Laurie's that I cased called "Tote-ally Tess". I changed the image and placement of the sentiment, the colours, added sewing and several embellishments to my card.

I stamped JJ with versafine onyx black ink and clear embossed. Water coloured her with Tombow Markers and Stampin Up reinkers. Added crystal effects to her eye glasses and wine glass. Cut out image. I stamped the sentiment on white card stock. Cut out oval and Bravo Burgundy oval matting with Nestabilities. Attached sentiment with brads. I cut the back off of the mini reindeer button. Teapot challenges

Happy Wednesday everyone.... Here are two cards I made for Mothermark's (Cindy) Teapot Tuesday challenges...
The first one "Frankenstein" will be mailed off to Jacob, a 5 year old who is going through chemo treatments... He will not be able to celebrate Halloween this year - so we are bringing it to him.
Frankenstein and the bat are stickers... I thought the dp was a perfect match for him... Stitched edges. Punched out the yellow moon, sponged edges with more mustard and placed the bat over top.

The second card has been mailed off to a young man (Kyler) who is serving in Afghanistan - he is the son of Lisa Lara.
For the embossed bg, I rubbed Barely Banana and Pumpkin pie on the embossing folder and placed a pieced of white card stock in folder and ran it through the cuttlebug... Stamped the House Mouse image on Kraft card stock and coloured with prisma colour pencil crayons.

Totally Stampalicious challenge --- SNOWFLAKES

HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY....

It's time for another TOTALLY STAMPALICOUS challenge.... To use at least THREE snow flakes on your card or project.

They have listed the winners from the BLOG HOP so make sure to go over to the TS BLOG to see if you are a winner.

Here is my take on the challenge... I used "Let it Snow - Stella".. I love Stella and all her humorous sentiments.

As you can see I have hundreds of snowflakes on my card... The snowflake dp is from "Me and My Big Ideas" - Noel Pack. The red dp is from "My Minds eye". I used a small snowflake punch and punched out the snowflakes from the snowy dp... I watercoloured Stella using Tombow markers and an aquapainter. Used nestabilities t cut out all the ovals. All edges were sponged with Stampin Up "Riding Hood Red".

I hope you will play along with us.... Make sure to add you card to Mr. Linky at the Totally Stampalicious Blog...

Plus, there will be more stuff that will be given away!!!

Today "Totally Stampalicious" is challenging us to make a thankful card or project as our Canadian Thanksgiving is just around the corner (October 11th). I used "Farmer Hawg" and one of the fun sentiments from this set. I coloured the (digi) image with Prisma colour pencil crayons and gamsol. The designer paper is from Recollections "Autumn" pack. I cut out two extra pumpkins and one crow from the dp. Added the crow to the fence beside Farmer Hawg and dry embossed the pumpkins to give them a rounded look. I tied on the wooden "corn cob" with raffia... All edges were stitched and all three panels are popped up.

I used Sketch #SC300 from Splitcoast Stampers - they are celebrating their 300th sketch and have many, many very generous sponsors - and Totally Stampalicious is proud to be one of them. Check out more on the sketch challenge HERE.

FS191 - You're "Tea"rific

I created this card for today's Featured Stamper challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers. Allison aka "Alimarbles" is being honoured today as FS191 .... I chose to case THIS pretty clean and simple card "CAS Leaves by alimarbles". The stamps I used are from Stampin Up - the teapots are from a retired set called "Best Borders" and the sentiment is from "Morning Cup". I scored the white background into squares. The wavy red border is a die cut that I painted. All edges were stitched. Image panel is popped up.
