I have three beautiful grown up children, Daughter - Kristy, sons Kyle and Guy and five precious grand daughters - Kayla, Nico, Kylana, Kaylee and Sydney and one adorable grandson Austin (Sydney and Austin are twins - born Jan, 6, 2011. I love spending time with my family, card making, scrap-booking, mountain biking, kayaking, riding my motorcycle, reading and working out at the gym.

Celebrate Canada Day
Happy Monday everyone... I made this card for a couple of challenges. The Totally Stampalicious challenge this week is - to use Red and White - to Celebrate Canada Day, which is on July 1st. The image I used is from Bugaboo Digi Stamps - Gus Birthday - optional.Image was coloured with Tombow markers. I made the maple leaf bg, using a stamp from Studio G - purchased at Michael's.
This is also for the CAS challenge #CAS125, over at Splitcoast Stampers - colour challenge - red, white and black.

MMTPT146, Thinking of You
I created this beach scene for the Teapot Tuesday challenge #MMTPT146. I can't get this twang! The music's way to slow. I like what you sang. Let the beach steal the Show.I will be sending this card off to Anthony who is recovering from a serious accident. Anthony loves the beach and music. I hope this card will put a smile on his face.
The lighthouse image is from Stampin Up's - Coast to Coast set and the cowboy him is from Sutter Enterprises - singing cowboy.

Smile - it's a beautiful Thing
I absolutely love this "Mother Teresa" quote. I used the quote as my focal point on my cards.The Free 4 All challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers was to do just that - use the sentiment as the focal point. The technique challenge was to make Paper Buttons (faux buttons) which I used on both of my cards and the Clean and Simple challenge was "a Gift" - as Mother Teresa said - a smile is a gift of LOVE.

QFTD60, Happy Birthday - Monte
Here is another card a made a couple of weeks ago. I made this for a co-worker who loves the outdoors and fishing. It is also for the Queen for the Day challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers.Flying by with a Birthday Hi!
I have so many cards to upload to my blog - have been very busy with life these days.I made this for a couple of challenges over at Splitcoast Stampers - CAS118 - use banners and Ways to Use It "WT322" - make a card for a little boy.
I stamped the Snoopy (Stampabilities - Snoopy's airplane) image with versafine onyx black ink and clear embossed. Water coloured with Tombow Markers. Cut out image. Made the base scene (stamped on the trees (Inkadinkado - trees), sponged on the green and the clouds. The banner sentiment was computer generated, cut out sentiment in shape of a banner. Popped up Snoopy with dimensionals.

SWEET HELLO
HAPPY TUESDAY EVERYONE. HERE ARE TWO CARDS I MADE FOR THE TEAPOT TUESDAY CHALLENGE MMTPT145 - OVER AT SPLITCOAST STAMPERS. PLUS THE TOP CARD IS FOR THE CHALLENGE OVER AT HOUSE MOUSE AND FRIENDS - MAY FLOWERS. THE HOUSE MOUSE DESIGN IMAGE IS "SLEEPING WITH STRAWBERRIES". IMAGE IS COLOURED WITH PRISMA COLOUR PENCIL CRAYONS AND GAMSOL. I CUT OUT SOME STRAWBERRIES FROM THE DP AND POPPED THEM UP ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE IMAGE AND TWO ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE IMAGE. THE TWO WHITE CORNER FLOWERS ARE STRAWBERRY BLOSSOMS - WE HAVE SOME STRAWBERRIES BLOOMING IN OUR GARDEN RIGHT NOW.THE CARD BELOW IS MADE FROM DESIGNER PAPER "DCWV - FARMERS MARKER - BERRY STREET" - THE SENTIMENT IS FROM "STUDIO G".

Here is my card for today's featured stamper challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers. Jo (aka Reddyisco) has this weeks honor. Plus this is for the challenge over at Crazy 4 Challenges - May Flowers. My image is from Clear Dollar stamps - Everyday jar-gon set and the sentiment is from Stampin Up's Fresh cut set. I cased this cute CAS card of Jo's. I tried to keep it a clean and simple card, but find it very difficult to do.

Punchart Easter Bunny cards
Here are a few cards my Grand daughters and I made for Easter. Here is where I got the idea for the Punch Art Easter Bunnies. I thought it would be fun to make these with the grand daughters.
Our destination this week for the Teapot Tuesday Challenge MMTPT142 is to Winnipeg, Canada. I will be sending my card off to Kay, who is the Grand mother of a fellow Splitcoast Stamper. Kay turns 91 on June 5th (my birthday too) - Kay fell and broke her elbow in February and is still in the hospital. We are sending our cards to her to help cheer her up.

Below is my grand daughters, Nico and Kayla. With a little help from me - the girls and I made these cards for their Mommy and Daddy for Easter.
My other grand daughter Kylana came over later in the day, so of course we had to make an Easter card for her parents and little sister, Kaylee.

Welcome Little One
I made this card for last weeks Clean and Simple inspiration challenge #CAS114 over at Splitcoast Stampers, plus the Ways to Use it challenge #WT315 - to ink it up using colour ink - no brown or black. I stamped the sheep image using not quite navy twice. Cut out the body of one sheep - applied white fun flocking the the body and the hair part on the head. Stamp is from Studio G - purchased at Michaels $1.50, designer paper from The Paper Studio - babyfarm animals. Thanks for stopping in, Hugs.Pat

You Totally ROCK
Happy Tuesday everyone :) Here is my card for today's Teapot challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers - MMTPT141 - and this weeks challenge over at Totally Stampalicious - Anything goes. I used this cute image from Totally Stampalicious - Rockin' Frawg. I coloured the image with Stampin Up and Tombow markers. I made this card last week for some challenges over at Splitcoast Stampers. Queen for the day challenge #53 - Karen Dunbrook was crowned the queen, also for the Clean and simple colour challenge - soft aqua, soft yellow and white, plus the ways to use it challenge - have a smile on your card and a past CAS challenge - to cut up the sentiment. Here is a cute card I made for Mothermark's Teapot Tuesday challenge #MMTPT140 and Splitcoast Stampers Queen for the Day QFTD54 - Lois (aka Clownmom) was crowned this week. I cased this cute card of Lois's "LSC187 Figgy Fluffles" The adorable cat image is from Penny Black - called "Uplifting Occasion". I coloured the image with Tombow and Stampin Up markers. Hello everyone.. Here is a card I made for a few challenges.. The Queen for the Day challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers. Harriet (aka hskelly) was crowned our new queen. Also the Ways to use it challenge was to use decorative scissors. I cut out the frame with the deco scissors. I cased this cute card of Harriet's "Daisy Days". The challenge over at Bugaboo's Catch the Bug Blog is "Anything goes" So my card works for that as well. I used this adorable Bugaboo Stamps digi image "Ava with Flowers" digi image. The image above is the inside of my card. I am trying very hard to finish the inside so they are ready when I need them. The balloon image is from "All night media". I coloured the Birthday Gus image with Stampin Up and Tombow Markers.

Women are like RIBBON
My card for today's Teapot Tuesday challenge MMTPT139 - Oh my gosha, Sasha! A proposal from McTibbons is contingent upon RIBBONS. Our card destination this week is to Ashley - who lost most of her scrap-booking and stamping supplies to a flood - the water completely flooded her basement right up to the roof. I stamped this funny Art Impressions image at my dear friend - Pat Smethers while visiting her in California last month. I stamped the sentiment there as well - it originally said "Women are like buttons, they hold things together" - I replaced the word "buttons" with ribbon to go with the teapot party theme. Happy 60th Birthday Ritchie - Live to Ride
Here is a fun birthday card I made for a friend who is turning 60 this week. My dear husband and I mountain bike with Ritchie... We have gone on several road trips to Utah and Nevada to ride. Ritchie is one of the fastest and in shape riders in our group - no one would believe that he is going to be 60 years old. I just had to make a funny card for him - I made it as though he is riding his "Tricycle" in the forest --- I hope he will get a laugh from this card... :)Connie Jones (aka stamp300) over at Splitcoast Stampers was crowned Queen for the Day

FS215, Happy Easter
I made this card yesterday for Splitcoast Stampers featured stamper challenge FS215.Mary Beth (aka mbrcutie25) has a lovely gallery. I chose this "Party Chick" card to case. It is also for the Ways to Use it challenge WT214 - "Smile" - my little wooden bunny has a great big smile on his face.
I used this adorable House Mouse Rubber stamp image "This egg's for you". I coloured the image with prisma colour pencil crayons and gamsol. I used the Fiskars grass border punch for the grass at the bottom of the circle. I love this polka dot designer paper from DCWV.

Bugaboo birthday cards
Hello everyone... I just had to share this adorable picture of my granddaughters Nico and Kayla. I was looking after them earlier in the week and when they visit with me they always want to make cards... I wonder why :)Their Papa Ricards birthday was the next day - so that is what we made - funny birthday cards for their Papa. The images are from Bugaboo Stamps - Birthday Gus.
The girls coloured their images using my Tombow Markers. Next they chose their papers. I helped them with the sewing on their cards.
Their Papa was so very happy to receive these from the girls.

MMTPT137 - For Haeli
I'm late uploading my card... I made this card for Haeli, a young girl in 6th grade who is undergoing chemotherapy for Ovarian Cancer... How sad that a young girl has to go through this.I used several challenges for Splitcoast Stampers - last weeks sketch challenge, this weeks colour challenge (soft suede, baja breeze, crumb cake and neutrals of choice). The ways to use it challenges was to use felt on your card - My brads are felted. Here is the link to our Teapot Challenge #MMTPT137.
