You're Tea-rific

Happy Tuesday everyone.... I can't believe how cold it is outside today, it is about -10 degrees celcius here - that is very cold for this neck of the woods - Vancouver Island - British Columbia.... brrrrrrr.... I think I'll just stay inside and play in my craft room :)

I made this card for the Totally Stampalicious Monday challenge - "A Hot Cuppa" - to make a card/project with a hot cuppa on it - (mine is "Tea").

Plus some challenges over at Splitcoast Stampers and also for Mojo Monday's sketch challenge #166. The challenges over at Splitcoast Stampers are Mothermarks Teapot Tuesday challenge - The bridge is leaning' and the town folk are steamin" - we are off to London, Ohio to help out at the Local Tea House - they are having a week long tea party and could use all of us (42,000) tea party ladies help. I will be sending this card off to Brenda - one of the owners of the Tea House who is having serious medical issues and could use a little cheering up - plus it is her Birthday on Dec. 11th...

This is also for SCS colour challenge #CC298 - chocolate chip, cherry cobble, crumb cake and neutrals of choice. Plus yesterday's technique challenge #TLC300 - to use at least two of the previous technique challenges - TLC168 - clear embossing the image and then water colour image, TLC266 - inside and out - finish the inside as well as the outside of the card, TLC39 - paper piecing.

The image I used (woman) is from "Totally Stampalicious" - "Old Brawd" set, and the stacked teacups and sentiment are from "Stampin Up" - "Morning Cup" set. I stamped the images using Versafine Onyx black ink and then clear embossed. Images were water coloured with Tombow Markers. I paper pieced the woman's hat, skirt, top and shoes.

Below is Mojo Monday's sketch challenge #166
Below is the inside of my card.
Thanks for stopping in,
Happy Stamping and Creating,
Hugs.. Pat
