HMF#59- Winter Wishes

Happy Monday everyone.... Over at House Mouse and Friends Blog - the very talented Lori has issued the challenge - "Winter Wishes" - Interpret it any way you wish - Winter holiday, Christmas, Snow, Winter birthday, New Years. Just remember to use at least one House Mouse, Happy Hopper or Gruffies image on your card or project.

Don't you just love this adorable House Mouse image "Warmth For Winter" - I will be giving this card to my Mother for her birthday (December 31st). She loves to knit - has made many, many sweaters, toques, booties, socks etc.... for her children, grand children and great grand children.

I stamped the image twice using Stazon timber brown onto Bristol Vellum paper. Coloured image with Prismacolor pencil crayons and gamsol. Cut out one image and layered/popped up over base image. On the base image I used a light blue to outline image and coloured the ground area. Matted image with Tempting Turquoise and chocolate chip. Added Diamond Stickles to the mini brads, pompom and mittens.

Below is a close up of image panel.
