HMF#49, WT229, Happy School Days Kayla

It's that time again - our Monday House Mouse challenge... Today's challenge has been given by the very talented and lovely Lori... to make a card or project with "Back to School" theme. It can be a decorated lunch tin or bag, a cute little note to go in a child's lunch bag, a Thank you card for a teacher. Remember that this challenge will run until August 31st - when we will return from our summer break.

Here is my take on the challenge... I have made a card to give to my grand daughter Kayla. She is entering her second year of pre-school.

Below is a close up ..

I coloured this adorable image "Little Nibbler" with prisma colour pencil crayons and gamsol. Matted with a shimmery rose card stock and then black card stock. Sewed edges. Added Diamond stickles to the erasers. Main card is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 white. Cut out four different coloured text ed square and matted with black. Sewed edges. Made the lined paper and wrote Kayla twice. Stapled it to main card. Tied ribbon onto a pink clip and attached to the green panel. Glued on the ribbon. Finished the inside of the card.
I hope you can join us at House Mouse and Friends. Please check out what the other talented DT members have come up with to inspire you. Make sure to use at least one House Mouse, Happy Hopper or Gruffies image on your card or project.

Happy Stamping

Hugs
Pat
