Embrace Life
I made this card for Splitcoast Stampers Clean and Simple Challenge CAS26 - stitching. This sweet Stampabilities House Mouse image - Together under the Moon was stamped in Stazon Jet black, next I stamped over the image with Stampin Up 'Sanded' backgrounder stamp in black. Coloured the moon with going gray. Cut out the frame using Square Nestability. Zig zag stitched around frame. Layered image under fram. Made the two ribbon tabs at the top. I cut a bamboo skewer to use as the hanging rod. Main card is 5" x 5" white - I sewed a wandering stitch twice around edges of base card. Stamped sentiment (from Stampin Up "Embrace Life" set) , then stamped sanded bg over top. Cut out sentiment with oval nestability, matted with black scalloped oval. Attached the three brads. Popped up image panel and sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by.
Happy Stamping, Hugs
