I saw this fun Penny Black image - "Chicky Night" while checking out Crafty Capers new store location... I just had to purchase it and of course... couldn't wait to make a card with it...
I used Splitcoast Stampers colour challenge #CC229 (certainly celery, pixie pink and appricot appeal) and combined it with several challenges from Dare to get Dirty DTGD09.
I coloured the chicks with Stampin Up reinkers, stamped some grass around their feet, added the pearls and tiny rhinestones for earrings. I stamped the very back panel with a tree image from Hero Arts and overlayed it with vellum. Stamped on the sentiment. Here is a link to my write up on SCS.
