TLC220, OCCC, Here's a little something sweet for you
Happy Monday everyone... I really wanted to use this adorable House Mouse stamp called "bird watching". I received it in the mail last week...
I used the sketch from Our Creative Corners blog and today's Technique Challenge TLC220 - bandanna technique over at Splitcoast Stampers.
I coloured two House Mouse images with prisma colour pencil crayons and gamsol.. masked image and sponged on clouds with soft sky. Used plain oval nestability to cut out bottom image, matted with black scalloped oval. Cut out one image and popped up over other. Added diamond stickles to the flower. I stamped the Hero Arts - design block tree using old olive ink onto kiwi kiss card stock. Added the lines and dots (bandanna technique) with white gel pen. I ran this panel through the cuttlebug with using the swiss dot embossing folder. Main card is 5" x 6". Made the two striped panels. Sewed all edges. Attached the three black brads and ribbon. Finished the inside of the card.
I am really pleased with how this turned out.
Thanks for stopping by. Happy stamping.
Pat
