I made a tri shutter style card - here is a wonderful tutorial by Bonnie Szwalkiewicz on how to make this fun card. It very easy to make - just takes awhile to decorate.
Above is my tri shutter card closed.
Below is the card open.
I water coloured this adorable Happy Hopper image - called "Bunny Bath". (thanks Pat Smethers for letting me stamp several of these adorable images - I finally purchased my own - which I recieved last week :)
I water coloured the image with Stampin Up reinkers, drew in the floor. I cut out the Bunny, tub and floor. Layered image over the striped dp - it looks like wood paneling. Matted with more mustard and chocolate chip scalloped square nestability. I just love the My Mind's Eye dp - Bloom & Grow line (flowers, dots and stripes) it is my absolute favourite right now. Each panel is matted with chocolate chip and all edges were stitched. I cut out the orange polka dot flowers with a cuttlebug die cut, punched out the flower circles with SU 1/4" circle punch. Attached the flowers with mini copper brads. The little blue flower on the sentiment panel was cut out from dp. Stamped sentiment in chocolate chip ("May every part of your Birthday have happy in it") - Sentiment is from Stampin Up - set is called "Full of Life". I made the little towel for the Bunny to dry off with. Crimped the More Mustard strip, folded over the top, sewed on the ribbon, threaded the brown ribbon through upper part of towel. Attached towel to card with button.
