Faux Grid Art Work
I made this card yesterday - I have combined two of Splitcoast Stampers Monday challenges. One is Try a New Technique #TLC229 - Faux grid and the other is Clean and Simple - Inspiration Challenge - Show us you Artwork #CAS23. Here is the link to TLC229 and the here is the link to CAS23. The art work that inspired me is from art.com called "Martha's Quilt II"
I made the grid, stamped on the leaf images. Coloured the leaves and squares with markers. Over stamped image with Stampin Up "Sanded" backgrounder in ruby red. Sponged edges with RR. Matted with black and more mustard. Added the leaf brad. Base card is 5" x 5". Image panel is popped up. Tied on the black 1/4" gingham ribbon.
recipe :
stamps: Stampin up - Sanded backgrounder, Sarah Beise - leaf, Stamp craft - Leaf
paper: Stampin up - whisper white and more mustard. Non SU black and white cardstock
ink: Stampin up - more mustard, certainly celery, ruby red, Crayola sketching markers - orange, Stazon jet black
accessories: gingham ribbon, pop dots, Zig Memory System - black marker, copper leaf brad, sponge, piercing tool, Olfa Rotary grid mat
Thanks for stopping by.
Happy Stamping
Hugs...
Pat :)

This is really gorgeous! I'm a HUGE fan of Fall, so anything that has to do with leaves and Autumn colors really inspires me! I love this. Best, Curt
