Hello Springtime

Here is a card I made for today's Splitcoast Stampers clean and simple challenge - CAS54 Wishing for Spring. This also qualifies for the challenge over at Our Creative Corner - Something old that is new.

I have never used the butterfly stamp - have had it for about 4 years now. The flower is from Hero Arts - Profile Blossoms - last time it was used was in March of 2008. Flowers were water coloured using Stampin Up reinkers. Used white gel pen on the stamen. Matted image panel with Barely Banana and Pink cardstock. Sewed edges. Stamped the butterfly twice and layered over the other. Added pink 1/2 pearls to it's body. Applied Diamond Stickles to the flower centers and butterfly wings. Base card is a textured white card stock 4 1/2" x 4 1/2". Image panel is popped up.

Thanks for stopping by.
Happy stamping and creating.

Hugs... Pat

  6. Hi Pat

Love your cards and I love how you often add some element of sewing. Must run in the family... I'm Val's niece:) She sent me your link a few weeks ago as she knows I'm a scrapbooker. I just started my own blog, so check it out:) I enjoy seeing your new stuff!
