It's time for another Totally Stampalicious challenge... this week we have been challenged to use at least two different textures on our card or projects. You can add textures in many different ways, dry or heat embossing, glitter, fabric, ribbon, cork, flower soft, fun flock, wood - the possibilities are endless.
I made two cards for this challenge - For my first card I used this adorable little girl image from the Totally Stampalicious Bugaboo Line - "Sweet Birthday Kids" set. As you can see I have lots of texture on this card - sewing, embossing, ribbon, textured paper and buttons. I water coloured the little girl image with Tombow Markers.
I combined the first card with a few Splitcoast Stamper challenges. Queen for the Day #QFTD23 (Princessheather), Featured Stamper FS185 (Princessheather), Free 4 all Fridays F4A26 - mix/mash it up - use stamps from differernt stamp sets, Ways to use it WT284 - use Versamark ink and WT284 - use buttons. Here is the adorable card of Heather's that I cased. For my second card I used "Sean with Flower" from the Totally Stampalicious Bugaboo Line. For texture I have the flower soft grass, sewing and the little flower he is holding has a brad and crystal effects on it. The edges have been distressed and sponged. I coloured this image with prisma colour pencil crayons and gamsol. Sean and the sentiment have been popped up. I used the "Faux Brick Wall" technique for the background panel.
