Eeyore Says "Hello"

A Happy Hello to all of you - we are having an absolutely gorgeous sunny, fall day her in my neck of the woods.... As Eeyore is in the "100 acre woods".

I made this card for two challenges over at Splitcoast Stampers - today's colour challenge #CC293 - to use Concord Grape, Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive and neutrals of choice.. Plus today's Teapot Tuesday challenge MMTPT116 - to make a card with a Disney theme or character. I chose to bring Eeyore to the Party... doesn't he look like he's having a marvelous time relaxing in the 100 acre woods.

I stamped image with versafine onxy black ink, clear embossed image. Masked image and sponged on the grass (Old Olive) , stamped on the various trees and the red flowers. Sentiment is from Stampin Up's Hedgehog Happiness set. Trees are from Victorine originals, Eyeore stamp is from All Night Media - Disney. Water coloured image with Tombow Markers. Sponged on the clouds with Soft Sky ink. Punched out the mini butterfly and applied crystal effects. Matted image with purple and red papers, sewed edges with a wandering stitch.

House Mouse Country Christmas

I just had to share this adorable House Mouse - Country Christmas card I made yesterday.. I haven't been playing with my HM images very much lately... and I absolutely love working with them. I made this for yesterday's technique challenge #TLC 295 over at Splitcoast Stampers - to make it shimmer. Plus Our Creative Corners challenge - to use at least three different embellishments.

I stamped the House Mouse image "Peppermint Pals " with Versafine Onyx Black ink and clear embossed. Inked up my acrylic block with Stampin Up Soft Sky ink and stamped over top of image. Stamped snowflakes on the background. Coloured image with Water colour pencil crayons and Tombow Markers. Next I applied Stampin Up Champagne Shimmer Mist with aqua painter. Applied Crystal Effects to the candies. Matted image with Forest Green card stock and a Kraft scalloped rectangle. I have had the Designer papers in my stash for a long time - not sure who made them. Made the base panel, Sewed edges. Attached the gingham ribbon. Punched out Martha Stewart Leaf springs, attached behind image panel. Tied the string bow and glued on. Applied Liquid applique for the snow. Image panel is popped up.. I sponged edges with Riding hood red ink.
I am very happy with how this turned out...

STAMPALICIOUS CASE CHALLENGE

Welcome to another fun Totally Stampalicious Monday challenge. Our challenge for you is to CASE (or copy) one of our Design Teams cards. I chose to case the UBER talented "Joycelyn".

Here is Joycelyn's beautiful card that I cased.
Hopefully you will join us over at the Totally Stampalicious Blog. Just choose a DT member to case (you will find the Design Team cards and information at the TS blog). Please upload your card and leave a link to your blog or gallery with Mr. Linky.

For my card I used the fun image and sentiment from the Christmas JJ set. I water coloured the image with Tombow markers. Applied Crystal Effects to her eyeglasses and the holly berries.

I've also entered this in Marks Finest Paper Challenge - faux or real stitching plus Our Creative Corners Challenge - to use at least three different embellishments - I have used ribbon, two different sizes of pearls and added Crystal Effects to parts of my images...

Thanks for stopping by,

On Blitzen

Happy Sunday everyone.... I made this card for the Featured Stamper challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers FS193 Laurie Zoellmer (aka imamuttnut) and for this weeks challenge over at Our Creative Corners - to use at least three different embellishments. It also qualifies for the challenge over at Mark's Finest Papers to use faux or real stitching on your card/project.

Plus I am introducing a new Totally Stampalicious image from their Bugaboo line called "Christmas JJ".

Here is the card of Laurie's that I cased called "Tote-ally Tess". I changed the image and placement of the sentiment, the colours, added sewing and several embellishments to my card.

I stamped JJ with versafine onyx black ink and clear embossed. Water coloured her with Tombow Markers and Stampin Up reinkers. Added crystal effects to her eye glasses and wine glass. Cut out image. I stamped the sentiment on white card stock. Cut out oval and Bravo Burgundy oval matting with Nestabilities. Attached sentiment with brads. I cut the back off of the mini reindeer button. Applied Crystal effects over the sentiment and placed the reindeer into the CE. I had the tree sticker for a long time - I cut out some matching dp and placed it behind the tree cut out portion. Sewed panels and assembled card....

Santa just Called

LOL.... don't you just LOVE these funny Stella images and sentiments.... from Totally Stampalicious's Bugaboo line...
I stamped the image with Versafine Onyx black ink and clear embossed. Water coloured image with Tombow Markers and Stampin Up reinkers. Added polka dots to Stella's top with a White Gel pen. Applied Crystal Effects to her glasses and the telephone. Applied white liquid applique to both hats. The hat on the sentiment is from a package of mini stamps I purchased at Costco a few years ago. Used Diamond Stickles on the Christmas tree ornaments and the green dots on the DP. Punched out the sentiment with Stampin Up's label punch. All edges were stitched with red thread.

I used sketch #SC302 from Splitcoast Stampers.

Thanks for checking in...

Teapot challenges

Happy Wednesday everyone.... Here are two cards I made for Mothermark's (Cindy) Teapot Tuesday challenges...
The first one "Frankenstein" will be mailed off to Jacob, a 5 year old who is going through chemo treatments... He will not be able to celebrate Halloween this year - so we are bringing it to him.
Frankenstein and the bat are stickers... I thought the dp was a perfect match for him... Stitched edges. Punched out the yellow moon, sponged edges with more mustard and placed the bat over top.

The second card has been mailed off to a young man (Kyler) who is serving in Afghanistan - he is the son of Lisa Lara.
For the embossed bg, I rubbed Barely Banana and Pumpkin pie on the embossing folder and placed a pieced of white card stock in folder and ran it through the cuttlebug... Stamped the House Mouse image on Kraft card stock and coloured with prisma colour pencil crayons.

Totally Stampalicious challenge --- SNOWFLAKES

HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY....

It's time for another TOTALLY STAMPALICOUS challenge.... To use at least THREE snow flakes on your card or project.

They have listed the winners from the BLOG HOP so make sure to go over to the TS BLOG to see if you are a winner.

Here is my take on the challenge... I used "Let it Snow - Stella".. I love Stella and all her humorous sentiments.

As you can see I have hundreds of snowflakes on my card... The snowflake dp is from "Me and My Big Ideas" - Noel Pack. The red dp is from "My Minds eye". I used a small snowflake punch and punched out the snowflakes from the snowy dp... I watercoloured Stella using Tombow markers and an aquapainter. Used nestabilities t cut out all the ovals. All edges were sponged with Stampin Up "Riding Hood Red".

I hope you will play along with us.... Make sure to add you card to Mr. Linky at the Totally Stampalicious Blog...

Hugs.. Pat
