MISTER "OLD FART"

Happy Sunday everyone... I made this card for a few challenges

The challenge over at TOTALLY STAMPALICIOUS blog

Irene (aka DandI93) is this weeks featured stamper. I love Irene's gallery - she is so very creative and talented. I cased this fun birthday card "WT298 - Senior Discount.

This image is a Bugaboo digi image - turned into rubber by Totally Stampalicious. The fun sentiment and image are from the "Birthday Gus" set. The image above is the inside of my card. I am trying very hard to finish the inside so they are ready when I need them. The balloon image is from "All night media". I coloured the Birthday Gus image with Stampin Up and Tombow Markers.

Women are like RIBBON

My card for today's Teapot Tuesday challenge MMTPT139 - Oh my gosha, Sasha! A proposal from McTibbons is contingent upon RIBBONS. Our card destination this week is to Ashley - who lost most of her scrap-booking and stamping supplies to a flood - the water completely flooded her basement right up to the roof. I stamped this funny Art Impressions image at my dear friend - Pat Smethers while visiting her in California last month. I stamped the sentiment there as well - it originally said "Women are like buttons, they hold things together" - I replaced the word "buttons" with ribbon to go with the teapot party theme. Image was coloured with Tombow markers. Designer papers from Recollections and American Crafts. Thanks for stopping by, Hugs. Pat

Happy 60th Birthday Ritchie - Live to Ride

Here is a fun birthday card I made for a friend who is turning 60 this week. My dear husband and I mountain bike with Ritchie... We have gone on several road trips to Utah and Nevada to ride. Ritchie is one of the fastest and in shape riders in our group - no one would believe that he is going to be 60 years old. I just had to make a funny card for him - I made it as though he is riding his "Tricycle" in the forest --- I hope he will get a laugh from this card... :)

Connie Jones (aka stamp300) over at Splitcoast Stampers was crowned Queen for the Day
last Friday... I cased this "Live to Ride" card of Connies.

The image I used is from Bugaboo Stamps - Gus Birthday and I coloured it using Tombow Markers.

Thanks for stopping by,

Stampalicious - Masculine challenge

Today over at the Totally Stampalicious blog we have been challenged to make a MASCULINE themed card or project. I have used this fun Gus image and sentiment from the Totally Stampalicious Bugaboo Line called "Mr. Fixit". Image was water coloured with Tombow Markers. Sponged in the ground area. While sponging in the grass I accidentally got green on his ankles - so I made him wearing brown socks :)

I used two different Embossing folders for the bg panels. Sentiment was punched out with a Stampin Up Labels punch. Sponged and sewed edges. Attached the silver brads and screw brad. Image panel is popped up.

I hope you will come and join us over at the TS blog... make sure to check out what the other very talented DT members have come up with to inspire you. Remember to upload your card/project to Mr. Linky - they are still looking for guest designers from those who play in the TS challenges.

Stampalicious challenge - Clean and Simple

Happy Monday everyone - it's time for another Totally Stampalicous challenge. We know that most of you are very busy at this time of year, so we are keeping it simple this week. We want to see your CLEAN AND SIMPLE cards. Which means to keep your layers and embellishments down to a minimum ( I find this very hard to do), often leaving lots of "White" space.

For the card above I used "Christmas JJ". I love this cute stamp set - it comes with two image an sentiments.

For the card below I used "New Truck Gus". I love the set as well - it comes with four humours sentiments and the one image - it is very easy to colour, and makes for some very fun masculine cards.

I stamped both of the images with Versafine Onyx black ink and clear embossed. Water coloured images. With the New Truck Gus card, I masked the image and then sponged in the sky and ground.

I hope you will come and join us over at Totally Stampalicious - check out what the other DT members have come up with to inspire you. If you join us - make sure to upload your card to Mr. Linky to your blog or gallery.

Also - Totally Stampalicious is on the lookout for Guest Designers and they'll be making their selection from all the people that play in the challenges.

My "New Truck Gus" card also works for the Technique Challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers
#TLC303 - sponging.

Thanks for stopping by,

Stampalicious & C4C challange card - Pimp my Ride

Happy Stampalicious Monday everyone.... Hope you all had a great Halloween, my DH and I were lucky to have three our of four of our sweet Grand daughters stop by and show us their adorable costumes :)

Today's Totally Stampalicious challenge is to use a red bow somewhere on your card or project. As you can see - I only have a teeny tiny red bow ... but I DO have a red bow :)

I used the new "Pimp my Ride Stella" and sentiment from the Totally Stampalicious Bugaboo line. Stella was stamped on water colour paper and coloured with Tombow markers. I cut out the image and placed it over the oval (snowflake embossed) panel. I added Stampendous Crystal Snow to the ground and under the sentiment. I added Crystal effects to Stella's glasses. The DP is from My Mind's Eye. I punched out three Real REd 1/2" circles and put clear acrylic circles over top.

I used the sketch from Crazy 4 Challenges.

I hope you will join us over at Totally Stampalicious. Check out what the other DT have come up with to inspire you. Make sure to leave us a link to your Blog or gallery on Mr. Linky.

I made a winter scene on Acrylic paper, stamped on the fir trees (from Stampin Up's - Lovely as a Tree set) using Old Olive ink and Chocolate Chip. Glue white fun flock to the bottom section of the Stella image and the tree panel. Applied white liquid applique dots for the falling snow flakes. On Blitzen

Happy Sunday everyone.... I made this card for the Featured Stamper challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers FS193 Laurie Zoellmer (aka imamuttnut) and for this weeks challenge over at Our Creative Corners - to use at least three different embellishments. It also qualifies for the challenge over at Mark's Finest Papers to use faux or real stitching on your card/project.

Plus I am introducing a new Totally Stampalicious image from their Bugaboo line called "Christmas JJ".

Here is the card of Laurie's that I cased called "Tote-ally Tess". I changed the image and placement of the sentiment, the colours, added sewing and several embellishments to my card.

I stamped JJ with versafine onyx black ink and clear embossed. Water coloured her with Tombow Markers and Stampin Up reinkers. Added crystal effects to her eye glasses and wine glass. Cut out image. I stamped the sentiment on white card stock. Cut out oval and Bravo Burgundy oval matting with Nestabilities. Attached sentiment with brads. I cut the back off of the mini reindeer button. Applied Crystal effects over the sentiment and placed the reindeer into the CE. I had the tree sticker for a long time - I cut out some matching dp and placed it behind the tree cut out portion. Seeing Spots

Hello everyone... I have just returned from a three day motorcycle trip - My husband and I, plus two of our friends covered approximately 900 kilometers - and saw some amazing scenery and drove on some of the best rated roads for motorcycle trips in British Columbia.

I made this card for this weeks Totally Stampalicious challenge - anything FOOD related- as long as it has anything to do with food - image, sentiment or both. I used the image and one of the sentiments from the 'JJ Cook" stamp set. I love this image and the fun sentiments.

This also qualifies for two challenges on the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog.. I used sketch #C4C43 and this weeks challenges was to use two or more ribbons on your card/project. I have the pretty little pink ribbon and the faux pleated, bubble wrap stamped ribbon across the center of my card.

Plus this is for this weeks Splitcoast Stampers Teapot Tuesday challenge MMTPT101 - issued by Cindy "Mothermark" - to bring lots of spots.... 42,000 of them.

I stamped JJ Cook and the sentiment with Stampin Up classic black on water colour paper and clear embossed. I water coloured the image with Stampin Up reinkers and Tombow Markers. Clear embossed her glasses and the wine glass. I inked up some bubblewrap with Stampin Up regal rose and stamped it onto the white base card and stamped a few extra pieces of white paper to use at a later time. I also bubblewrap stamped some of the blue card stock, which I used for the one panel and photo corners. I made the faux pleated ribbon using a strip of the stamped regal rose paper. I applied liquid pearls to the K&C dp and to the scalloped border. Assembled card, attached the pink ribbon and Stampin Up Filigree brad.

Happy Monday everyone... it is time for another Totally Stampalicous challenge. This week we are to be inspired by a Movie or TV show - Title, theme etc., Thanks Stacy (aka Twinshappy) for the challenge.
My card was inspired by the movie "Wild Hogs". A group of middle aged men who have decided to rev up their routine suburan lives with a freewheeling motorcycle trip. Below is the patch used in the movie.

I used the TS "Road Hawg" stamp to make my card. Image was coloured with prismacolour pencil crayons and gamsol. I painted the panel behind the image with Acrylic paints - I tryed to make it look like the Designer Paper. Image was cut out and popped up.

Please make sure to check out what the other talented Totally Stampalicious DT members have come up with to inspire you. I hope you will join us in our challenge.

Hay! How are you?

It's time for another Totally Stampalicious challenge - to make a masculine card or project. I have used this fun "Farmer Hawg" image on my card. I coloured the image with Prisma colour pencil crayons and gamsol. I had the sheep dp in my stash that I thought would be perfect on my card, plus the green textured gingham dp. I cut four squares and placed them over the black card stock, next I wrapped string around the middle of the card and stitched edges. I cut out the image and popped it up over the small square panel. Aren't those silver chickens the perfect embellishment for this card!!!

Make sure to check out what the other very talented Totally Stampalicious Design Team members have come up with to inspire you.
