Thinking of you

I made this for a few challenges over at Splitcoast Stampers. For the Queen for the Day challenge - ravengirl (Toni) was passed the crown. I cased this lovely card of Toni's. I used a nestability die shape to make the mask, sponged on Pumpkin Pie and Apricot Appeal, next I stamped Upsy Daisy image using Chocolate Chip ink. Matted with chocolate chip and texture rust cardstock. Made the 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 base card. Ran the white acrylic water colour paper through the Cuttlebug using Polka dot folder. Matted with kraft and rust card stock. Sewed edges of both panels. I made the faux butterfly button. Pierced holes and tied butterfly on with string. Wrapped string around base card 6 times and tied at back of card. Image panel is popped up.

Thanks for looking,

Smile - it's a beautiful Thing

I absolutely love this "Mother Teresa" quote. I used the quote as my focal point on my cards.
The Free 4 All challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers was to do just that - use the sentiment as the focal point. The technique challenge was to make Paper Buttons (faux buttons) which I used on both of my cards and the Clean and Simple challenge was "a Gift" - as Mother Teresa said - a smile is a gift of LOVE.

Happy Thoughts make happy days

This card was made for Splitcoast Stampers featured stamper challenge #FS223 - Amy aka
"Aimes" was given the honor. Amy has a fabulous gallery full of amazing works of art.
I cased this CAS card "You make me Smile".

Sentiment is from Stampin Up's "Apple Blossom" hostess set.

Thanks for stopping by,
Happy stamping and creating,

Hugs, Pat

Howdy there - Pretty Lady

Woo hoo, I finally got to use "THE WILD WILD WEST MAN" - this image is from a retired Stampin Up set (Wild Wild West). I stamped this image off while visiting my sweet friend, Pat Smethers while in California. Brenda (aka Benzi) was crowned this weeks Queen for the Day QFTD57 - I cased this card "QFTD03 - Cowpoke".

Punchart Easter Bunny cards

HAPPY EASTER... I hope you are all enjoying your day with family and friends.
Here are a few cards my Grand daughters and I made for Easter. Here is where I got the idea for the Punch Art Easter Bunnies. I thought it would be fun to make these with the grand daughters.
Our destination this week for the Teapot Tuesday Challenge MMTPT142 is to Winnipeg, Canada. I will be sending my card off to Kay, who is the Grand mother of a fellow Splitcoast Stamper. Kay turns 91 on June 5th (my birthday too) - Kay fell and broke her elbow in February and is still in the hospital. We are sending our cards to her to help cheer her up.

Below is my grand daughters, Nico and Kayla. With a little help from me - the girls and I made these cards for their Mommy and Daddy for Easter.

My other grand daughter Kylana came over later in the day, so of course we had to make an Easter card for her parents and little sister, Kaylee.

The challenge over at Crazy 4 Challenges is to make an Easter card this weeks. Challenge C4C82.
